How to Join KiwiSMP
To join KiwiSMP, add play.kiwismp.fun to your Minecraft server list. Bedrock players also enter port 19132. It's free, there's no whitelist, and Java and Bedrock play together. It takes about 2 minutes.
Pick your device
PC — Java step 1: Open Minecraft Java Edition
Start the Minecraft Launcher and play Java Edition 26.2.
PC — Java step 2: Click Multiplayer
From the main menu, click Multiplayer. If a warning about online play appears, click Proceed.
PC — Java step 3: Add the server
Click Add Server, name it KiwiSMP and type play.kiwismp.fun as the Server Address. No port needed. Click Done.
PC — Java step 4: Join
Select KiwiSMP and click Join Server. You'll spawn in the hub, where you can pick Earth SMP, Survival or Creative.
Bedrock step 1: Open Minecraft (Bedrock)
Open Minecraft on your phone, tablet or Windows PC. Update it to the latest version first.
Bedrock step 2: Go to the Servers tab
Tap Play, open the Servers tab and scroll to the bottom.
Bedrock step 3: Add the server
Tap Add Server. Name: KiwiSMP. Address: play.kiwismp.fun. Port: 19132. Tap Save.
Bedrock step 4: Join
Tap KiwiSMP to connect. You'll play in the same worlds as Java players.
Troubleshooting
"Unable to connect to world" or "Can't connect"
Check the address is exactly play.kiwismp.fun. On Bedrock, the port must be 19132. If the footer says "Offline", the server is restarting; try again in a few minutes.
"Outdated server" or "Outdated client"
Java: select version 26.2 in the launcher. Bedrock: update Minecraft from your app store.
Do I need an Xbox account on Bedrock?
Yes. Bedrock needs you signed in with a free Microsoft/Xbox account to join any server.
Why does my name have a prefix in chat?
Bedrock players get a small name prefix so staff can tell the editions apart. Everything else works the same.
Once you're in
- Pick a gamemode. You'll land at spawn — choose Earth, Survival or Creative.
- Read the rules. The rules page covers everything.
- Claim land. In Earth SMP, use the land-claim commands to mark your territory (video guide).
- Say hi! Introduce yourself in chat — someone will usually show you the good spots.
